Cutting edge construction was established on St. John, USVI in 2007 by Attlee Connor. We are locally owned and operated. The company prides itself on quality, innovation, and integrity. As a born and raised Virgin Islander Attlee had a vision to own a contracting company that operates on the same level of expertise, technology, work ethics, and magnitude as any other contracting firm from the mainland or abroad. As a teen he worked with his father building their home on St. John along with numerous projects. He decided to pursue an education and career in the construction industry in the mainland where he achieved an associate degree in Architectural Drafting, bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Technology and Master of Business Administration. While pursuing his career he would return home to work with his father during the summers until he started internships with contracting firms in the Hampton Roads Area in Virginia. During the beginning of his career he gain experience working for a general contractor and concrete contractor in a wide range of projects from high-rise buildings, supermarkets, hotels, college dormitories, and various project on the Naval Base in Norfolk, Virginia. He returned home working for Public Works as a consultant managing over 5 million dollars of road projects in the St. Thomas/St. John District of the Virgin Islands.
